- What exactly happens when you open Edge after a restart of the Computer?
- Do you see Edge browser when opened or a PDF file/program?
Do you face this issue on a different user account? If not, I suggest that you create a new user account or check for the issue in a different account.
I suggest that you do a SFC scan in the Computer. Hi, I was checking into my downloadsands, I pressed a file marked PDF, and I don't know how my Microsoft Edge went in PDF. and now I cannot use it anymore. Lucky me that I had download google on the side, otherwise I would have not be able to write to you. I want my Edge back and I don't know how. I already download a PDF converter in vain. Pls help me, because I am sure that I will like Edge, it looks pretty user friendly. tx

Looks some info is still missing...so here we go!
Edge takes automatically over PDF files when loading it.
If you would like to keep the familiar PDF files do this:
1. Find Edge PDF file
2. Right click with mouse...open with
3. Choose: Open with another application
4. Notify the tick box lower down: use always...just tick it
5. This converts the Edge PDF files back to Adobe ones
Keep rocking...that's the only thing, which does not change!
